April 11, 2021 – West Bend, WI – Police were on scene on the east side of St. John’s Lutheran Church just after 1 p.m. Sunday after a car crossed Fifth Avenue and nearly ran into the church.
A tree saved the side of the building from damage. The person behind the wheel reportedly suffered a medical condition in the Kwik Trip lot across the street on Decorah Road.
No major injuries were reported.
