January 31, 2025 – Fond du Lac Co., Wi – Over the last couple months, Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s patrol deputies and K9s have remained very busy removing significant quantities of fentanyl and other hard drugs off the streets. Depending on the nature of the investigation, there are times the Sheriff’s Department had to delay sharing the details because of an ongoing investigation.
Below are the highlights of a few of the stops and attached are photos of some of the drugs seized. Many of the defendants are not local residents, but rather people from other communities who are trafficking this poison here or traveling through to sell the drugs further north.
Regardless, deputies undoubtedly continue to save lives and send a strong message not to bring these drugs to or through here, and if you do and you are caught, you will be held accountable. It’s also disappointing to see so many of the offenders are out on bail, probation, or parole, yet continue to engage in criminal drug trafficking.
It’s also disturbing to see the variety of colors and forms of fentanyl we’re starting to encounter, as drug traffickers change up colors and consistencies as a marketing tool to stand out from the crowd.

Fond du Lac Co. Sheriff’s will continue to locate and apprehend criminal drug traffickers and remove these drugs from the hands of dealers before they are sold, ultimately preventing them from use and saving lives.

This post is all fine and good. Wonderful work from the Fond Du Lac police department. Were they prosecuted and put in jail? Were they citizens of the US? The post said that the drugs were taken away but not the end result of the drug dealers. I would like to know the result of catching them. Were they released? What ultimately happened to them?
