Slinger, Wisconsin — Faith United Church of Christ is thrilled to announce this year’s Vacation Bible School theme: Faith on the Farm: Growing with God! Children ages 3 to 12 are invited to join four fun-filled evenings of Bible stories, music, crafts, games, farm animals—and a whole lot of faith.
This free event will be held Monday through Thursday, July 7–10, 2025, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Faith UCC, located at the corner of Slinger Road and Highway E—just two miles south of the village of Slinger. The country church is a perfect location for youth to explore this year’s fun curriculum and expand their faith.
Each evening kicks off with fellowship and a kid-friendly dinner starting at 4:30 p.m., followed by engaging programming beginning around 5 p.m. led by Pastor Steve Scharnell and a dedicated crew of volunteers. Parents working late should not stress, as the official start of the curriculum is at 5 p.m. Children will discover how to plant seeds of faith, water them with God’s word, and grow in His love.
Through age-appropriate classes (ages 3–7 and 8–12+), youth will enjoy a dynamic mix of Bible teaching, music, creative crafts, and lively games, all designed to support spiritual learning in a hands-on, heart-filled way. Special guest appearances from farm animals will add an extra layer of joy and learning—connecting faith to the beauty of God’s creation.
“Faith on the Farm is a chance for children to learn about God’s love in a joyful and memorable way,” said Pastor Steve. “We want to offer kids a chance to grow in faith while having fun and feeling God’s presence all around them.”
