On Nov. 5, 2017 at 3:06 a.m. the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a one-vehicle accident on USH 151 near CTH C, Town of Trenton, Dodge County.
Preliminary investigation shows a Pontiac G6 traveling northbound on USH 151 just north of CTH C failed to negotiate a slight curve and entered the east ditch striking a tree.
The male driver of the Pontiac was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner.
The name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. There were no passengers inside the vehicle.
Northbound USH 151 was closed for closed for three hours following the accident, but is now open.
Assisting at the scene was: Beaver Dam Fire and Paramedics, Beaver Dam Police Department, Waupun Police Department, Dodge County Medical Examiner, Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain and Dodge County Emergency Response Team.
Alcohol and Speed are believed to be contributing factors for this accident.
