Fatal farm accident in Hartford, WI | By Sgt Brad Rodich

January 27, 2024 – Hartford, WI – On January 27, 2024, at 1:52 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center took a 911 call reporting a farm accident on Cty Hwy E near Hwy CC.

Deputies, along with Hartford Fire and Rescue began responding to the location.

Upon arrival at the farm, first responders located the patient and determined that they were deceased.

Detectives and the Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene to complete an investigation.
The death appears to be accidental in nature, with no foul play suspected.

Allenton Fire also responded with special equipment to assist Hartford Fire.

This incident is still under investigation, which the farm is being fully cooperative in.

January 27, 2024 – Hartford, WI – Hartford rescue crews are responding to a horrific agriculture accident on CTH E and CTH CC. The call came in before 2 p.m.

The location is about a mile south of Highway 60 and west of Slinger Road and east of Powder Hill Road.

The initial call was a special request for technical assistance with agriculture equipment and possible entanglement.

Motorists are advised to please pull over so emergency vehicles can get through.

Allenton Fire and Rescue is also on scene.
