June 5, 2022 – Germantown, WI – On June 5, 2022, at 7:10 p.m., the Germantown Police Department was notified of a bicycle accident on Lovers Lane between Pleasant View Drive and Mary Buth Lane.
Upon arrival, officers located a 62-year-old male with serious injuries as a result of the bicycle crash. Officers responded to the scene along with Germantown Rescue.

Flight for Life was also requested to assist with the incident. Life-saving efforts were attempted, however, the 62-year-old male succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The bicyclist was the only person involved in the incident. Lovers Lane closed in the area for approximately two and a half hours. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
