September 11, 2024 – Town of Polk, WI – On September 11, 2024, at 4:23 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center took a 911 call reporting a farm accident at 2742 Hillside Road in the Town of Polk. Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Richfield Fire and Rescue responded to the scene.
Shortly after arrival at the farm, first responders located the patient and determined the person, a 69-year-old Town of Polk man, was deceased. Detectives from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene to complete an investigation.
The death appears to be accidental in nature, with no foul play suspected.
