$125,000 damage following fire in Hartford | By Paul Stephans

February 25,2021 – Hartford, WI – Hartford Fire and Rescue Department was dispatched shortly before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021 for a house on fire located in the 400 block of N. Main Street in the City of Hartford.
The Hartford Police Department arrived on scene first and assisted with the evacuation of all occupants of the 4-Unit residential building.
Numerous pets also were evacuated.  Fire crews battled the fire with the assistance of five other departments.  Damages are estimated to be $125,000 to the building and smoke and water damage to much of the contents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Hartford Fire and Rescue Department was assisted by Slinger, St. Lawrence, Neosho, Jackson, and Richfield Fire Departments.
