UPDATE: Fire caused by possible lightning strike in West Bend | By Ron Naab

UPDATE: From the West Bend Fire Department: Earlier this evening (8/6) the West Bend Fire Department requested MABAS BOX 15-1-1 to the WORKING STILL level for a working structure fire at 2530 Tumbleweed Circle in the City of West Bend.

Agencies responding to the request were from:

August 6, 2021 – West Bend, WI – As a strong storm system with rain, wind, lightning, thunder and some hail moves through Washington County, fire officials were called just after 6:30 p.m. to a fire at 2530 Tumbleweed Circle in West Bend.

West Bend Fire and Rescue

Early word is the fire may have been caused by a possible lighting strike.

Jackson mutual aid was sent to assist West Bend.

West Bend also requested an ambulance from Kewaskum and Newburg for an engine for change of quarters.

All rigs and manpower at fire.
