Fire Departments across Washington County set to light up the night

March 25, 2020 – Washington Co., WI – Fire Departments across Washington County are preparing to light up the night as a show of unity during times of strife. The post below is from the Hartford Fire and Rescue Department.

Tonight! On Wednesday, March 25, at 7 p.m. the Hartford Fire and Rescue Department will open its bay doors and turn on the lights of trucks as a sign of strength and hope for all along with departments across the country.

Hartford Fire Department

This is just a small sign of strength and hope for all who work daily in EMS, Fire and Law enforcement to be ready.

To give strength for those working around the clock to provide care. To those who strive to find the right medicine to help. For the ones in the food/grocery industry working around the clock to feed us and to those many miles on the road trucking daily to keep us going.

For All of US! We are all in this TOGETHER!

You can do your part at home, too! Turn your porch light on…💡Let us all know you’re fine and have hope.

We ask all with red, blue, white or your department colors…Light ‘em up and turn them on. Maybe just maybe, we’ll create five minutes of smiles and peace.
