October 19, 2021 – Jackson, WI – Representative Rick Gundrum has selected Jackson Fire Department Lieutenant Gregg Rathke to receive the First Responder of the Year Award.
Jessica Loomans nominated Rathke through the WPRA because of all the dedicated service he has provided to the Parks & Recreation Department over the years.
There will be a ceremony honoring all nominees across Wisconsin on October 26 and a citation will also be drafted in his honor.
The Fire Prevention Week Open House is Wednesday, October 20 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the new facility, N168 W19851 Main Street.
