October 4, 2023 – West Bend, Wi – The West Bend School District has issued another statement tied to the altercation Wednesday morning, October 4, 2023, video of the incident showed police on the ground as students allegedly resisted attempts to control the situation.
There’s also information that a Rotary group from West Bend was at the school that morning presenting a check when the incident took place.

According to the release below, five students were taken into custody. Two of the students were not from the school.
Parents have questioned on social media how the kids, who were not from the school, managed to enter the building. The release does not address that question.
The note from executive principal Jennifer Potter goes onto talk about school procedures for Thursday, October 5, homecoming festivities, and a strong police presence.
