August 8, 2023 – Fond du Lac Co., WI – A 50-year-old City of Fond du Lac man appeared in Judge Douglas R. Edelstein’s court today. A criminal complaint outlines details of charges against Edgar Ramirez-Tellez who is accused of viewing and distributing sexual content of children online.

The investigation and arrest were conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Department of Criminal Investigations.
Ramirez-Tellez made his initial appearance in court at 11 a.m.
UPDATE: Fingerprints and photograph. Defendant shall have no contact with any children under 18 years old. Defendant must surrender passport. Defendant shall not leave the State of Wisconsin. Defendant shall have no use of internet, web browsing, social media and peer to peer apps.
Bail bond has been set at $500,000. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for October 26, 2023 at 2 p.m.
