Fond du lac Police identify deceased individual; asks for help from community | By Det. Vance Henning

UPDATE: May 31, 2023 – Fond du lac, WI – The City of Fond du Lac Police Department has identified the deceased individual found on May 23, 2023, to be Tristan L. Phillips (12/09/1981). The investigation into the circumstances that led up to the death of Tristan is active and ongoing at this time.

Suspicious Death Investigation (From Media Release May 23, 2023)
Fond du Lac, WI: On Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at approximately 12:57 p.m. the City of Fond du Lac Police Department (FDLPD) and City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue responded to the 500 block of West Scott Street for a report of a person who was doing yard work and came across a deceased individual in a wooded area behind a residence.
FDLPD Detectives responded to the scene. The investigation into the circumstances that led up to the death of this individual is active and ongoing at this time. The Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office also responded and will perform an autopsy as early as tomorrow to determine the cause and manner of death. The identity of the deceased is not known at this time.
