Former priest from Holy Angels in West Bend, WI injured in Waukesha Parade incident

November 22, 2021 – West Bend, Wi – Prayers going out to Rev. Pat Heppe, a popular priest who spent three years at Holy Angels Parish in West Bend.

Heppe was among dozens of people injured Sunday, November 21, 2021 following an incident where a SUV raced through the Waukesha Christmas Parade, killing five and injuring 58.

During Mass at St. William Parish in Waukesha Rev. Matthew Widder relayed a message that Rev. Heppe is “doing OK and recovering” and he is out of the hospital. (24:40 mark)

Heppe was reassigned by the Archdiocese in 2019, moving from Holy Angels Parish to the Catholic Community of Waukesha; that area includes parishes St. John Neumann, St. William, St. Mary and St. Joseph; Catholic Memorial High School and the Waukesha Catholic School System.
