July 30, 2022 – Washington Co., WI – It’s a big night tonight as rising country star Frank Ray prepares to perform ahead of headliner Bret Michaels at the Washington County Fair.
Ray is quickly turning heads on the music scene after shifting from a 10-year career as a police officer to performing in front of thousands. Friday night’s performance was a treat.
Dressed in a green and purple Hawaiian shirt and tight green blue jeans, Ray brought a lively energy to the stage with heaps of Latin flair.
Ray performed his hit ‘Country’d Look Good on You.’ He relayed the story behind the song ‘Late’ when his wife told him about how they were expecting their third child and Ray tapped into some 1980’s Nitty Gritty Dirt Band with a rendition of ‘Fishin’ in the Dark.’
Ray and his band also joined headliner Bret Michaels on stage for an enthusiastic finale of ‘Sweet Home Alabama.’
