West Bend, WI – There is going to be a benefit for Gwen Havorka on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Carl Kuss Memorial Field in West Bend, WI starting at 4:45 p.m.
Hovorka, who has leukemia, will be throwing out the first pitch during the rival WBE vs. WBW baseball game.
Hovorka was a four-year Varsity player on the WBW fastpitch team; she was also on the varsity bowling team.
Come out to the rival West Bend West vs East baseball game as they have dedicated it to support 2018 alum Gwen’s continuing fight against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. See her throw out the first pitch, enter raffles or grab something from the concession stand. All proceeds help Gwen’s ongoing medical treatments.

Please note, because of water issues at the field there will be no other ceremonies which were previously planned including a dedication of new lights and flags at the ballpark.
