Obituary | Gerald F. Brehmer, “Jerry,” “Moose,” 65, of Hartford

November 23, 2020 – Hartford, WI – Gerald F. Brehmer, “Jerry,” “Moose,” 65, of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Aurora Medical Center in Hartford.

Jerry was born July 8, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI to Irene M. (nee Neuman) and George F. Brehmer. He had an appreciation for his trucks and enjoyed walleye fishing (and loved ice fishing),deer hunting, winged sprint racing cars, and listening to many genres of music. Jerry had a soft spot for animals and spoiled his dogs and would often visit the West Bend Dog Park. He will be remembered fondly for his willingness to give a helping hand to anyone in need and will be greatly missed.

Jerry is survived by his loving partner of 27 years, Beverly Boettcher; dear siblings, Shirley Anderson, Marilyn (Robert) Morse, Howard (Debbie), Barbara (special friend Gary Guenthner) Stuettgen. He is further survived by his dear nephew and longtime coworker, Joe Stuettgen; adored puppy, Brandy; among many other loved cousins, nieces, nephews, the Boettcher and Lewis family’s, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Frederick Anderson.
Funeral Services for Jerry will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 12 p.m. Noon at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street, Hartford, WI 53027.)

Family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday from 10 a.m.-11:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Immediately following services, interment in West Granville Cemetery, Milwaukee.

Contributions in memory of Jerry are appreciated in care of Beverly to benefit Washington County Humane Society or will be contributed toward a memorial bench in his name at the West Bend Dog Park.
