Richfield, Slinger, and Germantown Fire Departments respond to grass fire | By Ron Naab

April 2, 2021 – Waukesha Co., Wi – Three fire departments from Washington County have responded to a grass fire in neighboring Waukesha County. Fire departments from Germantown, Richfield and Slinger responded.

The fire call came in after 2 p.m. for a location on Marcy Road and the railroad tracks near Silver Spring Drive in Menomonee Falls. The Wisconsin DNR said the fire danger in Washington and Waukesha Counties is ‘very high’ today.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. The DNR indicates 75 acres have burned.
