Good Shepherd Lutheran to install new pastor December 2021 | By Rev. Robert Hein

West Bend, WI – Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 777 Indiana Ave., West Bend, WI, is celebrating the installation of their new pastor serving youth and families Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 4:00 p.m.

Pastor Matt Mueller, his wife Holly, and their family come to Good Shepherd from Living Hope, Peoria IL.

From 2007-2011 Mueller attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN where he studied theology and doctrine. Then from 2011-2015, he attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI expanding his knowledge of Scripture. In addition to these years of study, he spent a year interning in Missoula, MT where he served as a vicar at Living Savior Lutheran Church. He received the call to be the pastor of Living Hope in Peoria, IL in May of 2015 and will be joining the pastoral team at Good Shepherd in December of 2021.

“We are adding a third full-time pastor because we want to expand our ministry to youth and families,” said Pastor Bob Hein, “We are seeing a growth in our school of children from our church and community. We have 47 children in our Preschool and another 192 children in grades K-8.

“We want to develop stronger connections with those families as our vision is – Connected to Christ – Connected to One Another – Connected to our Community.”
