The Gordie Boucher Ford Lincoln Dealership3021 W Washington St, West Bend, has been sporting a new look this week as the front entrance is now wrapped in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
General Manager Chris Flynn said the idea started when he visited Missouri a few years ago in October and saw a car dealership wrapped in pink.
Beside the West Bend store, plans are in place to also wrap the Menomonee Falls and Thiensville locations.
The sales staff and office personnel will also be wearing pink ties and scarves on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and hang ties used around the store will also be pink.
More importantly $50 with the sale of every new and used car during October will be donated in the buyer’s name to Breast Cancer Research.
Flynn said the pink ties are Not Just Any Tie, and the pink scarves are the True Courage Scarf, which were bought through Warriors in Pink, an organization sponsored by Ford.
Other clothing and gear is also available for purchase from Warriors in Pink, and more than half of the price is also donated towards the cause.
