West Bend, WI – The grandstand at Carl M. Kuss Memorial Field is starting to take shape as 2,000 pound I-beams are being lifted into place. It’s a slow process but by the end of the day the progress was noticeable.
A new grandstand and field are being put in place by the West Bend Baseball Association.
In March 2021 the old grandstand was leveled. That building dated to the early 1900’s and was able to seat 700 people.
The new design has a seating capacity of 524 and will be wheelchair accessible. The press box, sponsored by Horicon Bank, is expected to be set in place this week.
