Slinger, WI – 2016 Slinger High School graduate Hannah Rose Mrozak will be opening for headliner John Waite at Summerfest on July 4, 2025.
“I’m super honored to be sharing the stage with such talented and iconic musicians,” said Mrozak. “It’s going to be a great time with lots of great music.”
Mrozak has been singing since she was 6 years old.
She will be performing on the U line stage. This is the first time she’s performing since 2018 at Summerfest. She has new music coming out one of the songs she wrote about her brother called ‘Sleep forever.’
Mrozak has had a strong career with performances on Lakeshore’s Rising Stars, Milwaukee’s Got Talent, Wisconsin Area Music Industry nominee for Rising Star in 2014, and WAMI Rising Star in 2015.
She sung the National Anthem at Milwaukee Brewers, Admirals and Bucks games.
In 2014 she tried out for American Idol and advanced to Hollywood as far as the top 48.Mrozak describes her style as R&B/pop and is influenced by Ariana Grande, the Beatles, and Beyoncé.
“It is very exciting returning to Summerfest after all these years,” said Mrozak. “I have grown so much as an artist. Growing up here was always so wonderful. I will always be a Wisconsinite at heart. Summerfest is such a great music festival and I am couldn’t be more ecstatic to perform.”
At Summerfest, Mrozak expects Hartford and Slinger will be well represented. “Wisconsin has always been so supportive of me and my music and I am very grateful for that,” she said. “My family and close friends will definitely be there. Keep a lookout for the crazy loud people at the front of stage. They are just as excited as I am.”
