October 8, 2021 – West Bend, WI – During Senior Night for the West Bend West Girls Volleyball team, the Spartans lost a hard-fought match against the Hartford Orioles  25-19, 25 – 20, 25-17.
The Spartans gave it their all in every set, keeping the score neck and neck during the match. The Spartans had some excellent blocks, kills, and digs, but unfortunately it was not enough to beat Hartford.
Leading the way was Lindsay Sadleback with 7 kills, followed by Kylee Altendorf and Hannah Helmbrech with 5 kills apiece. Kelsey Corbett had 10 digs and 12 assists while Isabelle Sternig added 10 assists.
Even though this was the last home-conference game of the season, the Spartans will be taking on Nicolet next Tuesday at Nicolet with a 7 p.m. start.
The Spartans are 4 – 4 in the North Shore Conference.
