September 24, 2026 – Hartford, Wi – Hartford Union High School has received two national honors from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA).
HUHS was named a 2026 Exemplary Quality Program, recognizing its commitment to student safety, sportsmanship, equal opportunities and effective athletic department operations.
Athletic Director Scott Helms also earned the Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA) credential, the NIAAA’s highest professional certification. The designation recognizes his advanced training, leadership experience and completion of a practical athletic management project.
The awards recognize the work of HUHS coaches, staff and student-athletes in maintaining a strong athletic program. Helms will be formally recognized for both achievements at an upcoming NIAAA national conference.
