VIDEO | REAL ESTATE | HDI Wholesale celebrates ribbon cutting in Jackson, WI

September 23, 2022 – Jackson, WI – “Hello Jackson,” said HDI Wholesale company founder Nola Scherer-Luft as she welcomed a large crowd of family, friends, and coworkers to their new 70,000-square-foot location on Camus Court.

Sisters Sarah Depies, company president, and Anne Blaedow, vice president, decided two years ago to make a significant investment in a new 70,000-square-foot warehouse. The sisters said the location in Jackson is a perfect fit as it is a convenient proximity to Hwy 45 and allows for future growth and space for leasing.

On the front door, in the upper righthand corner is a white sticker that reads, “Women owned.”

Scherer – Luft opened with a prayer. “Lord, we lay this business and building before You. They are not ours but an offering for You and Your kingdom. We ask You to bless our wonderful staff, fantastic team, this building and this business. Please help us to continue to shape and grow this company in this new direction and bless all the hard work being done here.  May it always be strong and healthy, right and true. Father, we ask always for Your hand to guide us as we make important decisions about the future. Inspire our minds, feed our hearts and thoughts. We offer this all to You, our Lord.  Amen.”

“It’s been a grand journey to get here,” said Blaedow. “We started in 2021 by transitioning the company from our mother to us and Sara and I quickly realized that in order to support the business plan that we came up with we would need a larger more functional space to grow. None of that existed in Washington County that we could find. We needed more space and there was none for us to find so we decided it’s time to consider building.
“Our 39-year roots were in West Bend so to leave was a big leap of faith but yet we decided that Nola developed this company by taking leaps of faith we should do the same.”

The ribbon cutting was held Thursday to celebrate the new home for HDI Wholesale.
