Public’s help needed to locate loose “unfriendly” bull in neighboring Dodge County | By Dodge County Sheriff

November 11, 2023 – Dodge County, WI – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is aware that there is a loose bull that escaped from the area of the Milwaukee Stockyards near Hwy 16/60 and Hwy J on Friday afternoon, November 10, 2023.
This area is somewhat between Reeseville and Lowell, and east of the Columbus area in southwest Dodge County.
The bull was described as “dangerous” and “not friendly” and that it would charge at people.

Residents, hunters, and those driving through the area, especially driving at night, should use caution when in that general area. No sightings have been reported to us since its escape.
If anyone sees the bull please contact the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office immediately with as detailed of a location as possible.
Use 911 if it is an emergency, or call our non-emergency number 920-386-3726.
Do not report new sightings in the comments, unless you have already called us, as we do not monitor this for incoming information.
The Sheriff’s Office has been asked to euthanize the animal if it is located, due to the threat it would pose to people.
We will update this post with any physical description of the bull when we receive it.
