Holy Angels September Students of the Month | By Anne Weise

October 14, 2021 – West Bend, WI – The September 2021 Students of the Month at Holy Angels (left to right): Jake Behn, Emmalee Heniadis, and Elli Schrauth
September

6th Grade: Jake Behn
The Junior High teachers have enjoyed getting to know the new group of sixth graders, but Jake has been a standout. He has transitioned easily to middle school, making sure he does all his work at a high level and participating appropriately in his classes. Jake is one of the quietest of an enthusiastic group, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a competitive spirit, passion for learning and willingness to try new things. Outside of school, Jake enjoys sports, particularly playing running back for the East Suns.

7th Grade: Emmalee Heniadis
Emmalee is one of those kids who always comes up in conversations about great students. She is smart, but doesn’t rely on her quick pick-up of new ideas. She puts a lot of effort into her learning. She often has her hand up to ask questions or comment in class discussions and she turns in high quality work in all her classes. She is mature and responsible, and can be counted on to do the right thing. She helps out with the kindergarteners as a patrol. Emmalee is a social kid who gets along with all her classmates, and likes hanging with her friends.

8th Grade: Elli Schrauth
In the chaos that is always the start of a school year, Elli has done as much as any one student can do to make things run smoothly. She volunteers to help with morning announcements, leading mass, and getting the school weather report out. She is always available to work with other students and run errands for teachers. Elli has been elected secretary to the student council and will continue to serve the school there as well as by patrolling the students as they are dismissed each day. Elli loves performing and reading and wants to be a lawyer when her school years are over.
