May 29, 2026 – West Bend, Wi – In an effort to recognize academic achievement, personal growth, and dedication to Christian values Holy Angels School in West Bend, WI highlights 3 students for the month of May 2026 – 6th Grade: Will Ruhland, 7th Grade: Abbie Johnson, and 8th Grade: Maysen Worth.
6th Grade: Will Ruhland has taken middle school by storm. He has impressed his teachers with his interest in learning, effort and creativity. Will is well-rounded. Although he excels at academics, he also enjoys athletics. Gym is his favorite class, and he has played football. He learns quickly and participates in class with confidence. Will has also impressed the K5 students where he helps out during math class once a week. It is not surprising that Will wants to be an engineer when he grows up.
7th Grade: Abbie Johnson is one of the kindest seventh graders. She gets along with a variety of people and will reach out to help others. When she puts her mind to it, she can produce high quality work and is willing to re-do assignments to make them better. She was the highest scoring 7th grade math student on the diagnostic this year. Abbie’s real love is food. Her favorite food is spaghetti, but her favorite movie is Ratatoui and she hopes to own a restaurant someday.
8th Grade: Maysen Worth – Teachers appreciate Maysen’s most obvious qualities. She stays focused in class, puts the effort in to turn in high quality work, takes pride in learning, and works well with others. Possibly even more importantly, Maysen approaches everything with a positive attitude. She is polite, respectful and calm. She has a variety of interests including playing soccer, hanging with her friends, and spending time outside. Maysen will certainly grow up to be an excellent surgeon.
