Horicon Bank adds Cyrene Wilke as Operations Officer to team | By Grace Bruins

Horicon, WI – Horicon Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Cyrene Wilke as Operations Officer, SVP to its team.

Originally from Upper Michigan, Wilke brings 27 years of community banking experience to her role at Horicon Bank. Most recently, Wilke worked as a Senior Vice President leading loan, deposit, digital banking operations and technology teams.

Along with her extensive financial experience, Wilke is a graduate of both the Graduate School of Banking’s Digital Banking School and the Center for Exceptional Leadership at St. Norbert College. Wilke has served as a board member for the Risk Management Association of Wisconsin, participated in a national Fiserv advisory council, and is an active member of Alloy Labs Alliance, routinely advising other financial institutions on financial technology, process improvement, products and services.

Wilke says she enjoys using technology to improve the community banking experience.

“I love so many aspects of my work, from developing strategy to leading high performing teams,” said Wilke.  “In recent years, I’ve had the opportunity to focus on nurturing an innovative culture and use of technology to improve both the customer and employee experience.”

Wilke adds that she looks forward to bringing that same experience to Horicon Bank.

“I’m excited to be a part of a team that continues to innovate community banking,” said Wilke. “Horicon Bank’s leadership team, culture and willingness to support investments in modern banking technology set them apart.”

President Fred F. Schwertfeger welcomes Wilke to the team.
