June 2, 2026 – Dodge Co., Wi – On June 2,2026 at approximately 4:05 p.m. Dodge County Deputies responded to the area of State Highway 49 / Panzer Road in the Town of Leroy, Dodge County, Wisconsin for a report of a two-vehicle crash.

Initial investigation showed a 2020 Subaru Forester, driven by 73-year-old man from Phillips, Wisconsin was westbound on State Highway 49, crossing the centerline and was struck by a 2018 Ram 2500 pickup truck that was operated by a 33-year-old man from Menasha Wisconsin. Â As a result of the crash, both vehicles caught fire.
The 73-year-old man was transported from the scene to Summit Hospital with serious injuries via flight for life. Â The 33-year-old man was uninjured. Â He was arrested for operating while revoked. Â He was transported to the Dodge County Jail. Â As a reminder, all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
Assisting at the scene were Mayville EMS, Brownsville Fire Department, Brownsville First Responders, Flight for Life, Dodge County Emergency Response Team and the Dodge County Highway Department.
Names are withheld pending family notification, and the case remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
