This past year, Interfaith’s programs have already helped over 1500 community members. Our volunteer drivers have provided over 11,000 rides and traveled over 238,000 miles taking seniors to medical appointments and other essential services. Our volunteers make what could be a stressful journey for a senior into an enjoyable trip with a caring friend.

Interfaith volunteers have given 1000’s of hours helping with tasks like spring and fall yard clean-ups, lawn mowing, snow removal, grocery and meal deliveries, Kindness Crew visits, Kindness Calls, Canine Caregiver, and companionship visits.

Interfaith’s volunteer-run h.e.l.p. Corner, with locations in West Bend and Hartford, has loaned over 2,000 pieces of durable medical equipment to community members who are experiencing short or longer-term disability.

Through a collaboration with Full Shelf Food Pantry, Interfaith volunteers deliver food monthly to anyone in the community with limited means and mobility.

Funds raised will be used to support Interfaith’s direct services. Dollars will also be used as match funding for two new wheelchair-accessible minivans expected in 2024, and expenses to operate and safely maintain our current fleet of 12 vehicles. These vehicles provide a critical transportation service for our seniors 60 & older of limited means and/or mobility. These vans travel 1000’s of miles every year to essential healthcare services both in Washington County and outside – our volunteers make trips every day to places like the VA Hospital, St. Luke, the Froedtert Medical Campus, and many, many more.

These community’s many partners, along with our table sponsors, silent auction donations, and friends of Interfaith helped to make our day a huge success.

We are GRATEFUL to our generous community for bringing the true spirit of “Gemutlichkeit” – a state of warmth, friendliness, good cheer, and belonging – to our 2023 Oktoberfest celebration. Interfaith could not do what we do for seniors in Washington County without you!
