February 14, 2022 – Jackson, WI – The Jackson Water Utility continues with the 2022 meter changeout program along Main Street.
On Tuesday, February 8th, the sanitary lateral was repaired for a house on Highland Road that was damaged by a gas line installed in 1997. The damage was found during the meter change out and televising process. During the repair, the storm sewer lateral was accidentally dug up and found to have AT&T fiber line bored through the pipe. Crews
completed the work to address the issue and laterals are repaired and working properly.
Lastly, work continued this week at the Wastewater Treatment Plan on work orders, maintenance, and emptying of the two secondary clarifiers for repairs.
