The Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for ongoing management of quality performance, product disposition, regulatory compliance and oversight of quality issue resolution for Suppliers. Primary responsibilities include the evaluation and qualification of potential suppliers, contractors and consultants on the basis of their ability to meet specified requirements, including regulatory, quality, safety and security requirements.
This position integrates and develops processes to qualify manufacturers, suppliers and contractors that meet business needs across the organization. In addition, this position will lead the overall Supply Chain quality functions, including incorporation of specifications and requirements, with incoming inspection, issue containment and supplier corrective actions. This role will also support the development and launch of new products.
SUMMARY
Supervise activities and personnel associated with the filling and packaging operations ensuring compliance to safety, quality, productivity, procedural and regulatory requirements. Responsible for the performance of production lead, machine operators, production workers, and material handlers.
