WBW JV2 sweeps Port Washington | By Madison Nornberg and Haylee Johnson

September 25, 2024West Bend, WI – The West Bend West JV2 volleyball team won all three sets against the Port Washington Pirates: 27-25, 25-13, 25-17.

Although it was a rough start, the Spartans pulled out the win in the first set 27- 25. The game started with the Pirates in a big lead, but the Spartans picked up their energy and had great hits and tips.
The Pirates attempted to come back, but the Spartans had amazing serving runs from Elly Pauers and Alexis Bautz.
In the third set, Izzy Koepsell captured her first kill.  Spartans taking the final set with their great saves, perfect kills, and securing the match point with a bump kill.
The Spartans ended the night with 70 attempted served, missing only 7. 21 assists, 20 kills, 6 tips, 37 digs and 2 blocks. Taking the court again Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Grafton – first serve at 5:15 p.m.
