Kewaskum woman, 57, injured in single vehicle rollover | By Sgt. Logan Will

April 6, 2026 – Fond du Lac Co., Wi – On Monday, April 6th, 2026 at 10:48am, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received multiple 911 calls of a single vehicle rollover in front of N3357 USH 45, located in the Township of Osceola within Fond du Lac County.

Initial reports were that the driver was trapped in the vehicle and nonresponsive. Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, along with Eden Fire Department and Campbellsport Ambulance, were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival of the first deputy, he was able to remove the driver from the vehicle with the assistance of two bystanders. The deputy observed that the female was not breathing and began performing CPR.

A second deputy arrived on scene and further assisted with CPR. Shortly after, the female began breathing on her own.

Campbellsport Ambulance and a Fond du Lac Fire Rescue Paramedic Unit arrived on scene and took over patient care.

Due to the injuries suffered, ThedaStar Medical Helicopter was requested to the scene, however was unable to continue its flight due to inclement weather in the area. The female was transported by ambulance to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah with life-threatening injuries.

Through investigation, it was determined the 57-year-old Kewaskum woman and lone occupant of the vehicle, was southbound on USH 45 when she left the roadway, struck a driveway embankment, and overturned her vehicle. It is believed she suffered a medical incident which caused her vehicle to leave the roadway.

USH 45 was closed between CTH F and CTH W for approximately 45 minutes. The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted on scene with traffic control. The crash remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
