Funeral Mass and visitation today for Lou Ann L. Kluever (nee Puestow), 88, of West Bend, WI

February 26, 2024  – West Bend, WI – Lou Ann L. Kluever (nee Puestow) was born on June 12, 1935, to the late Walter and Cyrilla (nee Beder) Puestow. Lou Ann was born to eternal life on February 24, 2024, at the age of 88 years.

Lou Ann married the man of her dreams, the late Gordon Kluever, in West Bend at Holy Angels Church on her birthday in 1954. The were married 60 years.

Together they raised 8 children: Sharon Diels, Gordon, Jr. (Terese), Pamela Mankoff, Henry (Barbara), Christine (David) Knoll, Darryl, Charles (Janene) and the late Timothy (Maureen). She was a cherished grandma to 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren plus one more due in March and 14 great-great-grandchildren plus one more due any day. She is further survived by her brother-in-law Richard Roschi and 2 nieces Cheri (Todd) Krause and Melissa (Kelly) Larson.

In addition to her husband, parents and son Timothy, she was preceded in death by 1 sister Lee Ann Roschi.

Lou Ann Kluever attended Holy Angels School and West Bend High School, graduating with the Class of 1953. She helped her husband by driving milk truck for 6 years. She worked for Gehl Company for more than 18 years. She also worked for Hydraulic Gear for 3 years before retiring.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 26 at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend from 2 until 4:30 p.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 5 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church. There will also be a gathering for family and friends on Wednesday, February 28 at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with burial following at 11 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Angels Parish in Lou Ann’s name would be appreciated.
