Town of Trenton, Wi – Students, parents, friends, and teachers gathered to wish Kris Austin well after she spent the last 35 years at the helm of Ozaukee Christian School in the Town of Trenton.
Jonathan Webster is student who said Kris Austin really helped him find his way. “When I first came here I was really worried I wasn’t going to have anyone to spend time with but Mrs. Austin quickly realized that and she helped me make friends,” he said. “Especially in the past year she’s helped me come closer to God. She’s been always a great leader and I can tell she’s given a lot to OCS.”
Jessica Boehlke has been a teacher at OCS for the past five years. “Kris is a leader by example,” she said. “She shows us how to follow the Holy Spirit and gives us the freedom to do that as well. As a friend and a sister in Christ she has been there for me every step of the way.”
Aaren Lepien has been a teacher at OCS the past 12 years. “Kris is one of my heroes of the faith because she does not put God inside of a box she knows He can do anything and she is willing to step out in obedience no matter how crazy of a plan,” said Lepien.

OCS student Leah Swartz said Mrs. Austin has made a big impact and helped guide her faith. “She always has such a strong prayer life and always encouraged me to do the same,” she said.
Michelle Wang is an OCS alum and part of the staff. “Kris is known for her humility and doing everything that needs to be done and that combination is really inspiring,” said Wang.
