January 22, 2025 – West Bend, WI – I recently had a chance to meet with Riley Hansen, candidate for District 2 Alderman in the City of West Bend. It is encouraging to meet a young professional who chose West Bend as the place to live, put down roots and raise his family.
Although Riley grew up in the area, his career would allow him to live anywhere in SE Wisconsin. He told me he feels responsible to give back and work to make a positive impact on the community he has grown to love. I found Riley to be a courteous listener, thoughtful with his questions, and someone who wants to listen, learn and then act.
He feels the Common Council has the responsibility to lead the city with open communication, critical thinking and a focus on the future. He does not believe national political debates have a place at the local level and Public Safety, Infrastructure and Quality of Life are priorities we can all agree on.
His family taught him to critique every nickel spent, invest in quality and to be open-minded toward new ideas. I am proud to support Riley Hansen for District 2 Alderman and I ask you to consider doing the same. Please vote in the Primary on February 18.
