Man, 29, injured in fall at construction site in Slinger | By Capt. J. Gullickson

August 4, 2026 – Slinger, Wi – On Tuesday, August 04, 2026 at 10:30 a.m., Slinger Police Department responded to a residential construction site on Limestone Lane for a report of a construction crew member that had fallen off a ladder from the first story to the concrete basement foundation below.

The fallen individual, a 29-year old male, was reported to have experienced a significant injury. There was no stairwell access to the basement level of the construction.

With tremendous teamwork, first responders were able to safely extract the fallen individual from the basement and transfer them to Flight-For-Life which then transported the patient to a trauma center for further care.

Limestone Lane was shut down for approximately one hour to facilitate rescue efforts.

Slinger Police Department was assisted by Slinger Fire Department, Lifestar Ambulance, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
