Man arrested Twice within 4 Hours for OWI-2nd offense and Operating after revocation


Jan. 11, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Barton Ave at N. Main St. – On Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at 5:44 p.m., a West Bend Police Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer observed signs the driver was intoxicated.

The 26-year-old male from South Milwaukee failed the standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .12 into a PBT, and was arrested for OWI-2nd Offense and for Operating an Auto with a Revoked Driver’s License.

At 8:30 p.m. Police released the man to a friend.

On Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at 9:13 p.m., a West Bend Police Officer observed the 26-year-old male suspect from the above OWI speeding southbound on Highway 45 in the City of West Bend.

The officer stopped the man on US HWY 45 at W. Paradise Drive. The man again failed the standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .092 into a PBT, was again arrested for OWI-2nd Offense and Operating an Auto with a Revoked Driver’s License.

The man was taken to the Washington County Jail.
