Modern Woodmen Representative Spotlight on Rick Olson  | By Danny Frey

June 6, 2020 – West Bend, WI – Please take a moment to meet Series 6 Registered Representative Rick Olson.   Rick has been in the finance industry for 40 years with Modern Woodmen.  Rick is happily married to his wonderful wife Mary; his daughter, Richelle, and her husband, Dan; his son, Ryan; and their four grandchildren, Alexia, Lilyan, Jamison, and Jayden.

Rick

I am passionate about… helping his clients the best he can, along with his family, friends, and the Green Bay Packers!

I’m a member of…  NAIFA, MDRT, and NAFIC

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including… life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.

I work with… people of all ages. I like working with young people to help them start building an emergency fund and planning for retirement I also like working with older people preparing them for a good, financially sound retirement without running out of money.

My personal motto is….to give back to your community and others as much as you can!

I am very proud of… the 40 years I have been with Modern Woodmen, earning the 2015 FIC of the Year Award, being a Life and Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (which is the highest accomplishment in the industry), and most importantly helping many families accomplish financial security now and into the future.

I chose Modern Woodmen because… I believe in the organization — not only for how it supports members to help them reach their financial goals, but also for the way it supports my community and allows me to give back.

The best part of my career is… helping members whether it’s planning for their retirement or protecting their families with life insurance.  I feel good knowing I helped make a positive impact on their lives.

A favorite moment in my career was when… When I helped a young family that recently bought a new home keep their life insurance in force that the husband felt they did not need.   Shortly after I explained why they should keep it the husband unfortunately found out he had bone cancer.   He sadly passed away a year later.   The life insurance allowed the wife to grieve, keep the home, and stay financially secure to care for her children.

Rick would like you to know…. I have over 40 years of experience helping families and small business’s take care of their financially planning from start to finish.

Rick’s office is in Fort Atkinson and you can reach him at 920-563-9405 or check out his website at: https://reps.modernwoodmen.org/rolson/
