July 10, 2022 – Washington Co., WI – On Saturday July 9, 2022 the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified the operator of the motorcycle died as a result of injuries he suffered from the crash. This is the 9th traffic fatality the Sheriff’s Office has investigated this year.

ORIGINAL POST- On Friday July 8, 2022 at 8:09 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a traffic crash involving a motorcycle on US 45 traveling southbound, south of CTH PV.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson Police Officers and Jackson Fire & Rescue was dispatched and responded to the scene. Upon arrival, it was discovered the operator of the motorcycle, a 43-year-old City of West Bend man and his wife, 43, of West Bend, who was the passenger on the motorcycle had suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident.

Both crash victims were transported by Jackson Rescue to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.

The initial investigation indicates this was a one vehicle crash, which resulted from the operator losing control of the motorcycle.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction team responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. This crash is currently under investigation and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has no additional information to release at this time.
