West Bend, WI – The Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) is offering two age-appropriate Spring Break workshops for young, budding artists. Young artists will explore artwork in MOWA’s collection and create their own masterpieces.
On Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. young artists ages 6-8 will learn about composition, color, and line by creating a spring watercolor painting from start to finish. At the end of class, each artist will have completed an original artwork ready for hanging.

On the same day, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., artists ages 9-12 will turn a shadow box into a multilayered illustrative scene inspired by artists in Ten at Ten. The young artists will develop drawing skills while learning how to create depth and interesting compositions.
The cost for the programs is $25 with MOWA membership. All supplies are included. Registration is required.
