May 14, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – There’s a noticeable jump at the pump this Monday in Washington County and motorists are going to like it not at all.
While it’s common fodder for neighbors in West Bend to complain about the higher than average gas prices…. today the Kwik Trip in Slinger had everybody beat.
Savvy motorists are taking it as a sign of things to come. On Monday afternoon there was a 10-cent difference in price for a gallon of regular unleaded.
If you’re wondering what’s causing the jump… you’re not alone.
Memorial Day is right around the corner, May 28.
Last year in 2017, the price of a gallon of regular unleaded on Memorial Day was $2.42.
