Ann M. Hegy, age 68 of Hartford passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at The Kathy Hospice in the Town of Polk.
She was born on March 11, 1948 in Hartford, WI to John Odenwald and Ann Schmitt. She was united in marriage to Ron Hegy on May 18, 1968 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Rubicon.
Ann worked in food service for the Common School in Hartford for 29 years. She loved reading , sewing, canning, gardening and she especially loved to walk. She was a great housewife. She had a great sense of humor. Mostly she loved her family.
Ann is survived by her loving husband Ron, loving children Tim (Gina) Hegy of Hartford, Krista (David) Reif of Port Washington and Seth (Allysa) Hegy of Harford. Her five grandchildren, Morgan, Noelle, Hailey, Lauren and Andrew. Her siblings, Judy of Hartford, Joe (Debbie) of Hartford, Arlene (Steve) Newville, her brother and sisters-in-law, Tom Hegy of Rubicon, Dennis (Lynnell) Hegy of Hartford, Diane Hegy of Hartford and Meg LaCrosse of Hartford. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents , her brother John and sisters Joan and Jane.
A Memorial Service for Ann will be held at the Shimon Funeral Home on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 – 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
