Obit: Bernice E. Hoepner, 79, of West Bend

June 21, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Bernice E. Hoepner, 79, of West Bend, formerly of Milwaukee, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Waterford, West Bend.

She was born on March 9, 1938 to the late Norbert and Florence (nee Ehlers) Hoepner in the Town of Herman. She graduated from Hartford High School. Bernice liked the outdoors, gardening, traveling and going on cruises. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, reading. Bernice was a fan of the Packers and Brewers. She enjoyed volunteering at the Marine Historical Society in Milwaukee for many years. She was a very kind person always talking to people to make them feel included. Bernice loved to spend time with family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Bernice leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three sisters, Marlene Pamperin, Lucille Hoepner, and Marilyn (Michael) Keller; two brothers, John (Bev) Hoepner and Jim (Brenda) Hoepner; many nieces, nephew; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ken Hoepner and her brother-in-law, Raymond Pamperin.

A memorial service in remembrance of Bernice will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
