Obit: Bernice T. Robers, 84, of Kewaskum

 

March 16, 2018 – Kewaskum, WI – Bernice T. Robers, 84, of Kewaskum, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.

 

Bernice was born on February 24, 1934, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Marcus and Anna (Wondrus) Herbert. On May 7, 1959, she was united in marriage to Cletus Robers in Milwaukee. Cletus passed away on May 20, 2002.

 

Bernice loved to play cards, she loved pets, and bowled for many years. She always carried a deck of cards with her and there was no inappropriate time to play cards. She was the life of the party. Bernice loved her family very much and deeply cared for her grandson, Nathan “Gator”. Bernice loved to have fun and enjoyed going on cruises. She was crafty and artsy, making greeting cards for Kettle Moraine Gardens and friends. Bernice also made afghans, crochet, and stitchery kits, giving them away as gifts to her friends.

 

Those Bernice leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Chris (Steve) Jung of Random Lake; a grandson, Nathan Jung of Random Lake; two brothers-in-law, Ronald (Artys) Robers of Paddock Lake and Norman (Judy) Robers of Burlington; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

In addition to her husband and parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy (Rudy) Grossmier; a brother-in-law, Stanley Robers and a sister-in-law, Lorraine (Gene) Bouman.

 

A Mass of Christian for Bernice will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at St. Michael Church, 8883 Forest View Road, Kewaskum, with Rev. Edwin Kornath officiating. Burial will follow at St. John of God Cemetery in the town of Farmington.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bernice’s family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
