Carolyn Therese Frias November 3, 1947 – August 16, 2016 Carolyn T. Frias (née Neu) – (formerly McGuckin), 68, of Azusa, California gained her wings peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 after a 14 month battle of pancreatic cancer. Born November 3, 1947 in Hartford, Wisconsin to Norbert and Mabel (Connell) Neu. Carolyn wanted to give a special thank you to Ann Frias, for welcoming her into the Frias family with open arms. Carolyn lived to love and did so until she went with the lord. She proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, 4 months and 4 days. She was very active in her 12 step programs where she gained an additional family of friends. She married Dennis (Mac) McGuckin April 8th 1972. He preceded her on February 16, 1996. She married Tony Frias on May 17, 1997 and he survives. She is not only survived by her loving husband of 19 years Tony, but is also survived by Her children – Audria (Brandon) Chavira, Garden Grove, CA; Shannon McGuckin (Rory Rice), Fontana, CA; Ryan McGuckin, Long Beach, CA; Richard McGuckin, Fontana, CA; Mike (Karen) Frias, Moreno Valley, CA; Lupe (Andy) Smith, Adelanto, CA; Marcelino (Penny) Frias, Sahuarita, AZ; Tim Frias, Upland, CA; and daughter-in-law Cynthia Frias, Diamond Bar, CA. Siblings – Eunice (Tom) Bredael, Green Bay, WI; Roger (Joyce) Neu, Hartford, WI; Curtis (Jeanne) Neu, Anderson, IN; Tony (Sarah) Neu, Hustisford, WI; Jerry (Norine) Neu, Iron Ridge, WI; Rose (Steve) Park, Slinger, WI; Rick (Pam) Neu, Neosho, WI; Monica (Rodney) Fitzgerald, Juneau, WI; and Mary Beth Munk, Lomira, WI. Brother-in-laws and sister- in- laws, Ernie (Judy) Rojas, Prescott, AZ; Margaret DeAlva, Phoenix, AZ; Rosie Para, Phoenix AZ; Patrick (Ginny) McGuckin, Golden Valley, AZ; and Michael (Vicki) McGuckin, Sterling Heights, MI. She is also survived by countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carolyn is preceded in death not only by her first husband Dennis (Mac), but also her parents, Norbert and Mabel Neu; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Greg Grande; step-son Anthony Frias; granddaughter Mallory Frias; father and mother-in-law, Patrick and Mary Ellen McGuckin; mother-in-law Isabelle DeAlva; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Mass for family and friends of Carolyn and her family will be at 10:30a.m. Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Rubicon, WI.
