Obit: Darlene R. Gross, 89, of Beechwood

April 24, 2018 – Beechwood, WI – Darlene R. Gross, 89, of Beechwood, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Beechwood Rest Home in Beechwood.

 

Darlene was born on July 25, 1928, in Lomira, the daughter of the late William and Frances (Schwartz) Kedinger. On November 11, 1950, she was united in marriage to Robert Gross at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira. Robert preceded Darlene in death on August 18, 1982. Darlene enjoyed camping, traveling, flowers and her friends.

 

Those Darlene leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, Shirley (Dale) Giese of Campbellsport, Charles (Tara) Gross of Alexandria, Virginia, and Judy Gross of Campbellsport; four grandchildren, Kevin Gross, Olivia Gross, Jeremy Giese, Mike (Maxine) Gross; four great-grandchildren, Alissa Tolzman, Savannah Emmerich, Breanna Gross, and Hayden Gross; a sister-in-law, Virginia Kedinger; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

 

In addition to her husband and parents, Darlene was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Gross and a brother, Donald Kedinger.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial for Darlene will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street, in Kewaskum. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will follow in St. Matthias Catholic Cemetery in the town of Auburn.

 

Darlene’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home in Kewaskum on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. with a vigil service held at 6 p.m.
